Exciting Opportunity for a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer

Location: Leeds

Salary: £23,000 -- £27,000

This is an excellent chance for a recent geology, environmental science, geoscience, or environmental engineering graduate to join a multidisciplinary engineering team in Leeds. You'll have the opportunity to work on a range of Ground Investigation and Contaminated Land projects in the North-West and Midlands, developing skills and kickstarting your career.

The Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer position involves assisting with site walkovers, carrying out and overseeing site investigations, soil and rock logging, preparing phase plans, and conducting phase 1 Desktop Studies. You'll be trained to write factual and interpretive reports, groundwater and gas monitoring, work on in situ testing, and encouraged to progress through the company.

This role offers:

The successful Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer will:

  1. Hold a minimum of a BSc in geology, physical geography, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental science, or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
  2. Be keen to learn and develop geo-environmental skills.
  3. Show enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands-on role.
  4. Hold a full UK driving licence.
  5. Be commutable to Leeds.
  6. Have full right to work in the UK.
