Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Support Assistant to join our team at Positive Futures Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our specialist provision, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils aged 16-25 with ASD and SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teaching staff in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum for students on and off site.
  • Build professional and trusted relationships with students, prioritizing their health, safety, and overall development.
  • Assist with positive behavior management and provide individualized support to students as needed.
  • Collaborate with the teaching staff to create a safe and caring learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license and access to your own car.
  • Level 2 or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • Minimum age to work on site is 21.
  • Experience or knowledge of working within an education setting.
  • Positive and creative approach to meeting young people's needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Competent ICT skills.
