Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Philanthropy Manager to join our client's major giving team on a temporary basis for 10 months. As a Philanthropy Manager, you will be responsible for raising funds from trusts, foundations, statutory bodies, and High Net Worth Individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage external relationships and assist senior managers with bid proposals and strategy development.
  • Secure sizeable gifts from High-Net-Worth Individuals through face-to-face asks.
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to achieve targets.
  • Line manage a team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Proven fundraising success and experience in philanthropic giving.
  • Confident communication skills and understanding of the charity sector.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing external relationships and securing significant donations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
