Position Overview

At Primary Integrated Community Services, we have a dedicated Clinical Lead for Musculoskeletal First Contact Practitioners, ensuring that our practitioners meet the standards set forth by the NHS England FCP Roadmap. Our commitment lies in advancing the expertise of FCPs as specialized musculoskeletal professionals within primary healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Function autonomously as a specialist in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, providing comprehensive assessments and tailored treatment plans.
  • Independently evaluate, analyze, and deliver clinical diagnoses for patients, including those with complex conditions, to ascertain their need for further musculoskeletal or alternative interventions. This includes recognizing when to refer to other services such as diagnostics, pathology, and pain management.
  • Document clinical notes accurately using SystmOne and Arden's Templates, while also utilizing additional electronic platforms in accordance with professional standards.

Essential Qualifications:

  • BSc or equivalent in Physiotherapy.
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • A minimum of three years of experience in musculoskeletal practice.
