Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Location: Croydon / Carshalton area

Salary: Competitive salary £43,000 - £45,000 pa + Benefits

Type: Permanent

Schedule: Days – Monday to Friday, Day Shift (Flexibility on start time)

A well-established food manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to provide hands-on maintenance within a high-speed production and packaging facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Responding promptly to machinery breakdowns and performing scheduled Preventative Maintenance activities.
  2. Electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding and repairs to ensure minimal downtime.
  3. Supporting engineering initiatives to reduce waste and optimize production efficiency.
  4. Assisting with new machinery installation and equipment refurbishment projects.
Requirements:
  1. At least 2 years' maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
  2. Strong Electrical or Mechanical skills (Or be multi-skilled).
  3. Excellent Engineering Fault Finding skills and problem-solving abilities.
  4. Recognised Engineering qualifications/certification.
  5. Hands-on approach to fixing production equipment, machinery, and systems.
