Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Location: Croydon / Carshalton area

Salary: Competitive salary £43,000 - £45,000 pa + Benefits

Type: Permanent

Schedule: Days – Monday to Friday, Day Shift (Flexibility on start time)

A leading food manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in the Croydon / Carshalton area.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns and perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance activities.
  2. Carry out electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding and repairs.
  3. Support engineering initiatives to minimize waste and downtime across the site.
  4. Assist with new machinery installation and equipment refurbishment projects.
Requirements:
  1. At least 2 years' maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
  2. Good Electrical or Mechanical skills (Or be multi-skilled).
  3. Strong Engineering Fault Finding skills.
  4. Recognised Engineering qualifications/certification.
  5. Hands-on approach to fixing production equipment, machinery and systems.
  6. Good problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
