We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team. As a Community Support Worker, you will work with vulnerable adults who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, providing them with the support and guidance they need to rebuild their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to clients, helping them to identify their needs and develop a plan to address them.
  • Work with clients to access housing, benefits, and other services that can help them to achieve their goals.
  • Provide practical support, such as helping clients to access food, clothing, and other essential items.
  • Work with clients to develop their skills and confidence, helping them to become more independent.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to ensure that clients receive the support they need.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults, particularly those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work outside of normal office hours.
  • Knowledge of the benefits system and other services that can support vulnerable adults.
