About the Role:
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about teaching swimming and has a strong commitment to delivering high-quality lessons. As a Swimming Instructor with We Are Swim, you will have the opportunity to work with children and adults of all ages and abilities, teaching them the skills and confidence they need to become proficient swimmers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and Deliver Swimming Lessons: Create engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to the needs of your students, ensuring they progress and improve their swimming skills.
- Assess and Evaluate Student Progress: Regularly assess and evaluate student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and making adjustments to lesson plans as needed.
- Maintain a Safe and Supportive Learning Environment: Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students, adhering to We Are Swim's policies and procedures.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, providing clear and concise feedback and guidance.
- Continuously Develop Your Skills: Stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and techniques, attending training and professional development opportunities as needed.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Hold a recognized swimming teaching qualification, such as the ASA Level 2 Teaching Swimming Award.
- Experience: Have a minimum of 1 year's experience teaching swimming to children and adults.
- Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Personal Qualities: Be a motivated and enthusiastic individual, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality lessons and providing excellent customer service.
