Laundry Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our friendly, award-winning team as a Laundry Assistant at Avery Healthcare.
As a Laundry Assistant, you will support the Head Housekeeper in providing a high-quality laundering service to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out all laundering duties, including understanding wash guide instructions and laundering requirements of various textiles.
- Practice safe systems of work, assessing risk and considering personal safety and the safety of residents, visitors, and staff.
- Contribute fully to teamwork, responding positively to colleagues and promptly acting on all reasonable work instructions.
To be successful in your application, you must demonstrate understanding of the laundering requirements applicable to various textiles, have experience working in a similar setting or a hotel, and have a positive attitude towards residents.
You must also demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of laundry services to residents.
