About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Data Quality Assurance Department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability of data across our clinical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • To analyze and monitor complex data to enhance efficiency and resolve data quality issues.
  • To collaborate closely with key stakeholders, services, and staff to ensure seamless processes between Information Services and Data Quality Assurance.
  • To identify and address data quality concerns to support clinical functions and ensure accurate service reporting and billing.
  • To manage and produce a robust data assurance audit cycle on all statutory returns produced by the Trust.
  • To manipulate data using spreadsheets and analytical tools to produce reports, presentation materials, and graphical data analysis materials.
Requirements
  • Problem-solving abilities and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Level 4 qualification or equivalent experience in the advanced use of Microsoft Excel to store, order, and report information.
  • Experience of working in an Information Management setting and communicating ideas and gathering user information requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex analysis to non-analytical professionals.
