The successful candidate will work closely with the site management team daily to ensure compliance with related policies and procedures and guarantee products supplied to customers are of a consistently safe and high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with certification bodies, organize site audits, respond to non-conformances, and ensure full compliance with certification standards and accreditation systems.
  • Collaborate with the Quality and Product Safety Manager to review and update policies and procedures to continually strengthen and improve quality management systems.
  • Complete customer questionnaires and prepare technical specifications.
  • Manage the company's internal audit and self-inspection programs.
  • Develop and implement a robust and efficient Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) Program.
  • Maintain up-to-date calibration records and arrange service and repair of laboratory equipment.
  • Conduct and document forward and reverse traceability exercises and product withdrawals.
  • Assist in maintaining the company's Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plan.
  • Deliver short training programs and conduct information and awareness briefings.
  • Perform general quality assurance duties, including process quality checks, compiling certificates of analysis, archiving samples, and conducting laboratory tests.

Requirements:

**Experience in the food industry and BRC (British Retail Consortium) certification is essential.
