About the Role

Dot Recruit is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our retail, commercial, digital, and operational teams to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Performance Analysis: Analyze trading performance against financial and non-financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identifying key drivers and trends to inform business decisions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with stakeholders across various business areas, providing financial modeling and analysis to support business cases and initiatives.
  • Reporting and Insights: Design and own a suite of dashboards and reporting tools, particularly in Tableau, to present insights clearly and concisely to senior management.
  • Value-Added Analysis: Provide detailed analysis to help stakeholders understand performance and take action to maximize future profitability.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in a commercial role or a strong desire to pursue a career in commercial finance.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and data analysis skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communication: The ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to senior management.
  • Technical Expertise: Confident use of tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Business Intelligence (BI) software (like Tableau).
  • Confidence to Challenge: Someone who can confidently challenge the business to meet ambitious growth targets.
