About the Role

Merton Council is seeking a skilled professional to join our Planning Contributions Team as a Section 106 Monitoring Officer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and monitoring Planning Obligations from Section 106 Agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day management of S106 legal agreements to ensure timely enactment of provisions.
  • Manage incoming funding contributions and their allocation and associated spend.
  • Collaborate with the Planning Contributions Team to achieve corporate targets and objectives.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require previous experience in a similar position or substantial experience in planning or property. You must have a proven track record of interpreting and implementing legal documents with attention to detail, working under tight deadlines, and meeting corporate targets.
