We are seeking a highly skilled Food Technologist to join our team in Middlesbrough.

About the Role

As a Food Technologist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our raw materials. This will involve:

  • Developing and maintaining raw material specifications to ensure they meet our quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to obtain necessary documentation and approvals.
  • Assessing new raw materials and providing recommendations for their use.
  • Supporting profit improvement plans by working with our purchasing and technical teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A HND or equivalent in a food-related discipline.
  • Experience in food manufacturing and a good understanding of quality management systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
