Role Overview
The School Renovation Company Ltd is seeking a skilled Sales Estimator to join our team. As a Sales Estimator, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging, educational, and exceptional spaces for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend site meetings with new clients and manage the initial brief through to conception.
- Manage the sales cycle and CRM.
- Produce itemized quotations and estimates.
- Review tenders and assist in preparing bid documentation.
- Liaise with external suppliers.
- Initiate cost reductions without compromising design quality or the client's experience.
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge and experience of creating site surveys.
- Knowledge of generating quotations/bill of materials.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Space awareness and the ability to visualize issues and solutions.
- Ability to think on the spot and solve our customers' problems.
- Education to degree level or relevant work experience (preferably from the construction industry).
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in construction or commercial fit-out.
- A full UK driver's license.
- Willingness to travel occasionally from the office to client sites for meetings and site visits.
