About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Contract Monitoring Officer to join our South Waste Collection and Street Scene Services Team at Buckinghamshire Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimum outcomes and performance of our waste contract.

Main Responsibilities

  • Monitor contracts to ensure high health and safety and operational service standards are maintained in line with contract standards.
  • Undertake site visits to resolve customer enquiries and ensure a good professional relationship is maintained between the waste management team, service providers, and stakeholders.
  • Manage case work and ensure work is prioritized accordingly and completed within Service Level Agreements.
  • Support projects, targeted initiatives, and communications campaigns.

About You

We are looking for an individual with excellent customer service skills, organizational skills, and the ability to form excellent working relations with a wide range of internal and external partners. Knowledge and understanding of key waste management legislation and approaches to contract management and performance management are advantageous.
