Responsibilities of a Youth Care Facilitator:
• Support, safeguard, and promote the welfare of children and young individuals.
• Assist with daily routines, which may involve community engagement and/or educational settings.
• Organize and facilitate social activities.
• Provide transportation as needed.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure safe practices.
• Offer high levels of supervision and support.
• Adhere to Ofsted and CQC regulations.
• Manage complex behaviors and intervene during crises.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments.
What Nurseplus UK Ltd Requires from You as a Youth Care Facilitator:
• Prior experience in a child and/or young adult care setting.
• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Child & Young People's Workforce (CYP) is preferred.
• All candidates must be at least 21 years old to comply with industry regulations.
• Knowledge in areas such as EBD, SEMH, CSE, or SEN/SEND is advantageous.
• An enhanced DBS, which can be applied for upon registration (cost of £45.40, refundable after a specified period of employment).
• A Full UK Driving License is desirable.
