We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at British Garden Centres. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals according to our menu, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook food to a high standard, adhering to our menu and quality control guidelines.
- Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies as needed, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive team dynamic.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, adhering to HACCP guidelines.
- Previous experience in a busy kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent culinary skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures.
