We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team on a part-time basis, working 25 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing multiple monthly payrolls for high-volume employees, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all payroll-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process multiple monthly payrolls for high-volume employees, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
- Process starters, leavers, amendments, absences, overtime, statutory payments, and pensions, maintaining accurate records and resolving discrepancies.
- Support the monthly reporting process, producing weekly and monthly payroll journals, reconciliations, and other relevant documents.
- Manage the Company Pension Schemes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Raise monthly and ad-hoc payroll-related payments, maintaining accurate records and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Process company cars and P11Ds, handling associated queries and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Complete all company and year-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers.
- Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in payroll processing from start to finish, with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency.
- Extensive knowledge of pensions schemes and auto-enrolment, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with all MS Office programs, with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Able to work independently and under pressure, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
