Role Summary
This position presents an exciting opportunity to join Jupiter's Investment Management Trading team, situated in our London office. The successful candidate will be integral to the centralized Trading Team and the Fixed Income Team, executing orders across a diverse range of Fixed Income assets while showcasing a strong capability in analyzing execution results and refining trading strategies.
Jupiter's commitment to active investment necessitates a relationship-driven approach to execution. Therefore, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a collaborative spirit and the ability to engage effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Fixed Income and FX securities transactions promptly and accurately across various markets, with a focus on Emerging Markets, while adhering to Best Execution standards.
- Maintain current knowledge of the Emerging Markets Fixed Income & FX landscape, including liquidity and pricing, and share relevant insights with the Investment Management team.
- Provide ongoing updates to Investment Managers regarding market conditions, sentiment, trading volumes, and price fluctuations, identifying potential investment opportunities.
- Leverage market insights and quantitative analysis to inform trade execution strategies, ensuring optimal performance.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of market trends, economic indicators, and geopolitical events that influence Fixed Income and FX markets, developing strategies to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Build and sustain relationships with Brokers and Clients across various asset classes.
- Evaluate execution outcomes using data-driven methodologies to enhance client results.
- Continuously improve processes to boost efficiency and cost-effectiveness, collaborating closely with Investment Managers and other stakeholders to align trading strategies with investment goals.
- Stay informed about regulatory changes impacting Fixed Income and FX trading.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies, upholding the highest standards of Best Execution.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in executing trades in Emerging Markets Fixed Income assets across multiple currencies.
- Demonstrated understanding of market structures and procedures for executing Fixed Income Securities and FX, utilizing both voice and electronic automation methods.
- Knowledge of the factors influencing price trends and market conditions.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to trading and strategy formulation.
- Excellent communication abilities to convey complex market concepts to stakeholders and strengthen business relationships.
- In-depth understanding of FCA Rules related to Trading.
- Proven experience in identifying market opportunities and risks, using data to inform decision-making.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, MarketAxess, Tradeweb, FXALL, and BlackRock Aladdin is advantageous.
- A flexible work approach and a constructive contribution to team dynamics.
- This role is subject to the Conduct Rules set by the FCA.
- This role is classified as a certified position.
