About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Home Manager to lead our 90-bed Nursing and Residential Care Home in Braintree - St Mary's Court. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents, building occupancy, and recruiting, training, and retaining a professional and experienced staff team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with CQC, business governance, and operational policies and procedures
  • Manage home profit and loss within a set budget
  • Promote marketing ideas to grow the reputation of the Home
  • Recruit, train, and retain a professional and experienced staff team
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in successful CQC good-rated Care homes management
  • Qualification in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care (Level 5)
  • Compassionate yet assertive leadership style
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and manage large staffing teams
