Main ResponsibilitiesThe Community Lead will be responsible for ensuring that all clinical practice is developed using up-to-date evidence-based practice, ensuring that all staff have the appropriate skill base and supporting mechanisms to access training to work with the service user group. They will also oversee a service user's care pathway, utilising available resources and Patient Journey framework and lead the team in its implementation.
The Community Lead will ensure that systems are in place to support user and carer-centred involvement in the planning and provision of care. They will also ensure that staff receive regular supervision and appraisal, and are offered essential and developmental training in accordance with their personal development plans, and the needs of the service.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the principles of Clinical Governance, knowledge of the processes necessary for effective risk assessment and management, and experience of working in an Early Intervention in Psychosis setting. They will also have post-qualification training in psychosocial interventions or a related subject.
