Obstetrician Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Obstetrics Consultant to join our team at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.
About the RoleThis full-time position will include sessions on Labour ward, including Obstetric on call and Antenatal clinics. We are looking for a candidate with ATSM in Fetal Medicine or subspecialty training in Fetal Medicine. The post offers flexibility in the job plan, allowing you to pursue your special interest areas.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care on Labour ward and in Antenatal clinics
- Participate in departmental teaching and training for undergraduate medical students and postgraduate trainees
- Contribute to the development of service and academic initiatives
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry on the GMC Specialist Register
- MRCOG or equivalent qualification
