As leaders in the design, manufacturing, and installation of commercial and industrial flue systems, A1 Flue Systems Ltd is committed to delivering high-quality products throughout the UK. We are in search of a proactive and meticulous Production Engineer / CAD Specialist to contribute to our operations at our manufacturing facility. This position is crucial to our workflow, concentrating on the creation of production drawings, overseeing machine programming, and enhancing our manufacturing methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for production purposes.
- Create programs and DXF files for laser and plasma cutting machinery.
- Enhance and maintain production technology and factory layouts.
- Formulate and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) and cycle times.
- Support the development of new product lines and machinery.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to ensure efficient production workflows.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (with a 1-hour lunch break)

Requirements:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (both 2D and 3D) is preferred.
- Experience in production processes, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to manage Bills of Materials and utilize spreadsheets for production planning.
- Willingness to work onsite in an open office and manufacturing environment.
