Manufacturing and Installation Engineer

V7 is working with a well-renowned and thriving engineering business, who specialize in Water Treatment Plants. The company is currently expanding and now looking for a Manufacturing and Installation Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.

This role will be a mix of workshop and onsite with some working away.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welding of components and assemblies on site and in the workshop
  • Installation of wastewater treatment plants at client sites
  • Assembling various equipment in the workshop
  • Managing goods inward
  • Attending breakdowns at client sites
  • Repairing and maintaining client's water treatment plants at their sites
  • Service reports and paperwork
  • Assisting service engineers
  • Repairing/maintaining components in the workshop
  • General workshop maintenance
Requirements:
  • Strong welding and fabrication skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use software
