We are seeking a skilled Health and Social Care Trainer to join our team at Care Outlook LTD, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care training to our staff and new starters.

As a leading healthcare provider, we support vulnerable adults to maintain their independence and remain in their own homes. Our directors are local community members who value traditional principles and believe that our service is only as good as the staff who deliver it.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive Care Worker Training, including mandatory requirements, induction, and continuing professional development (CPD)
  • Assess trainee learning and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of training and development
  • Engage in ongoing training and development to ensure knowledge is current and relevant
  • Meet and exceed targets for training delivery

Key Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license and use of a vehicle for extensive travel across the business
  • A genuine passion for supporting learners and understanding the importance of delivering Health and Social Care programs that meet Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirements

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • Teaching and Education qualification (e.g., Level 3 AET, PTTLS, CTLLS)
  • Background in care and experience in maintaining effective recording systems
  • Basic Life Support Training (Adults and Pediatrics) and Moving and Handling Train the Trainer certification

The ideal candidate will be a confident trainer with strong communication and organizational skills, a 'can-do' attitude, and a passion for delivering high-quality training that meets the needs of our staff and service users.
