Job Title: Social Worker

Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 per annum

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Social Worker to join our dedicated team at a well-established Family Assessment Centre in Hendon, London. As a Social Worker, you will work closely with children, families, and multi-agency teams to improve family outcomes, focusing on safeguarding children and empowering families to thrive independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tailored support plans in collaboration with families, children, and other professionals.
  • Manage complex court cases involving child protection investigations, ensuring all interventions prioritize child welfare and family support.
  • Coordinate and chair meetings, produce concise reports, and engage effectively with children and their families.
  • Promote a safe and positive environment that upholds the values of social care, making decisions in line with statutory guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Social Work qualification and HCPC registration with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Proven experience managing complex children and family cases, particularly in court proceedings and child protection.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding principles and children's social care theory, legislation, and practices.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions based on analysis and professional judgment.
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet operational demands, including emergencies.
  • A valid DBS check and UK work authorization.
