Your Responsibilities
  • Manage the procurement of subcontract packages.
  • Conduct quantity measurements as required.
  • Prepare and compile enquiry documentation.
  • Analyze quotations and provide recommendations.
  • Draft order documentation.
  • Assist in monitoring and processing payments to subcontractors.
  • Evaluate and process applications for payment from the supply chain.
  • Ensure timely processing of payments.
  • Maintain commercial oversight of subcontract packages.
  • Support contract administration for various packages.
  • Aid in value recovery efforts.
  • Contribute to the preparation of main contract valuations.
  • Assist in cost control and reporting processes.
  • Support the final account agreement process.
  • Evaluate changes and agree on final accounts for subcontract packages.
  • Participate in project risk and opportunity planning.
  • Maintain professionalism in interactions with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for individuals with a BSc or equivalent qualification, or those working towards MRICS or a similar professional designation. Our company is committed to supporting you in achieving chartered status with RICS.

  • Experience in main contracting and a genuine enthusiasm for the construction sector.
  • A solid understanding of various aspects of quantity surveying within the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with subcontract accounts, procurement, cost monitoring, and industry standards.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • A systematic approach to work complemented by excellent numerical abilities.
  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and driven attitude with the ability to influence.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both informal and formal.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
