A Cable Jointer/Jointers Mate is at the heart of our electrical infrastructure operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidates to develop an exciting career and further develop within Advanced Utility Networks.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be carrying out jointing, cabling, and excavation work on a pre-planned and quick response basis. You will take responsibility for the safety of yourself and colleagues, acting as an ambassador for a strong safety culture in everything you do.
The role can be demanding, and you'll also be required to respond quickly to any emergency situations that may arise as we want to provide the best possible service to our customers in their time of need.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will be motivated and hard-working, alongside having a skilled background in HV/LV Jointing, as a Jointer or Jointer Mate. Experience in working with a Distribution Network Operator (DNO) or Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO) would be fantastic, but not essential. We are also looking for:
- Enthusiasm and drive with a flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing business and project priorities.
- A high regard for safety, embedding yourself in our safety culture and adhering to guidelines in everything you do is a key priority.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to convey technical aspects in a clear manner.
- For Jointers it is an essential requirement you have a full UK driving licence.
You will also have the below relevant tickets:
- CSCS Card, Emergency First Aid, Driving License, NRSWA and SMSTS.
