Job Title: Cable Installation Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Cable Installation Manager to join our ARK M&E division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing mechanical labour and subcontractors, ordering and tracking of materials, producing technical submittals, and general management duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage cable gangs and jointers across all JRL sites, including assisting temps with larger pulls.
  • Review drawings to plan the sequence of complex large-scale cable pulls.
  • Produce relevant RAMs for each install and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with planners, engineers, and project managers to programme works.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with cable pullers and jointers to ensure a reliable workforce.
  • Assist with the development of lightning protection packages and self-deliver where necessary.
  • Travel between Midlands, London, and the South coast as required.
Requirements:
  • BE HV/ AP qualified (training can be given).
  • Good understanding of Earthing Systems.
  • Time served as a manager within a cable pulling business working on large projects.
  • Proficient in the planning and control of cable gangs and jointers.
  • SMSTS Qualified.
  • Good communication and commercial awareness skills.
