Senior Electronic Records Management Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronic Records Management professional to join our team at TFPL & Sue Hill Recruitment. As a key member of our Information Governance team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day operations of the team, including file management, file intake, releases, destruction requests, data access requests, and records retention services across our firm's offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • File Management and Retrieval: Manage and retrieve physical and electronic records, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data in the records management system.
  • Information Governance and Liaison: Liaise firm-wide on data storage locations, act as a point of contact for information governance, and provide instructions and training to staff.
  • Records Retention and Compliance: Ensure compliance with record retention procedures and respond to requests for files and information.
  • System Content Review: Review records management system content and recognize errors, coordinating archiving as needed.
  • Staff Support and Development: Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in records management, information governance system functions, and department procedures to provide support to staff.
  • Knowledge and Expertise: Possess extensive knowledge of information governance, data security, and privacy principles, best practices, and procedures.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have exposure to significant document organization responsibilities in a law firm.
