Key Responsibilities

As an Application Support Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal operation and enhancement of a diverse technological environment, with a focus on both contemporary and traditional applications. Your duties will encompass:

  • Monitoring system performance to ensure software integrity, user accessibility, and overall efficiency.
  • Conducting security assessments and performance monitoring, swiftly addressing alerts to mitigate potential issues.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful Application Support Engineer will excel in a collaborative and dynamic setting, utilizing your expertise in both modern and legacy ERP systems, particularly with System 21, Great Plains, or Navision. You will play a vital role in fostering efficient workflows within an FMCG environment, with an emphasis on financial and IT processes.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience in implementing or supporting systems related to financial operations, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
  • Ability to comprehend business workflows, tackle technical challenges, and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Proficiency in iSeries operations, especially within an ERP context.
  • Skills in server management, including SQL database oversight and data analysis through SQL queries.
  • A solid foundation in service improvement and problem management, with a focus on minimizing disruptions and enhancing system performance.
