Job Overview

Datascope Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Animator to join our team. As a key member of our animation department, you will be responsible for guiding the animation team in creating engaging and high-quality animations for games.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animation Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the animation team to ensure the delivery of high-quality animations that meet the company's standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including programming, art, and design, to ensure seamless integration of animations and maintain a consistent standard of quality.
  • Animation Review and Refinement: Review and refine animations to enhance quality, ensuring they meet the company's standards and expectations.
  • Team Support: Provide guidance and support to the animation team, helping them to develop their skills and expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading or supporting animation teams, ideally with a completed game project.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with 3D animation tools, such as 3ds Max or Maya, and a basic understanding of game development workflows and engines, like Unreal.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in multiplayer games.
Additional Skills
  • Technical Animation: Knowledge of technical animation, such as rigging and skinning, is a plus.
  • Motion Capture and Cinematics: Experience with Motion Capture, Cinematics, or Facial Animation is beneficial.
