Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Neurodevelopmental Disorders (ND) team at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work within a well-established team supporting young people and families with neurodevelopmental disorders.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated individual to develop new ways of working and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care for children and young people with ADHD. As a Senior Practitioner, you will be responsible for facilitating effective assessment, diagnosis, and prescribing, as well as generating prescriptions for children and young people with ADHD.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of children and young people with ADHD, providing high-quality care and support
- Conduct mental state assessments, risk assessments, and family and social assessments
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Provide consultation and interventions to support children and young people with ADHD and their families
- Work collaboratively with other services and agencies to ensure seamless care and support
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be an experienced qualified Nurse Practitioner/Non-Medical Prescriber with a strong background in neurodevelopmental disorders. You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
