Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Supermarket Assistant. As a key member of our Partnership, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring high standards of presentation and display.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling customer payments and operating a cash register.
  • Assist with stock management, receiving and rotating stock, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and display activities, ensuring products are attractively displayed and easily accessible to customers.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to lift and move stock, and stand for long periods.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
