We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Leader to join our team at WHSmith. As a Store Leader, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring your team to provide exceptional customer service, meet business objectives, and create a working environment that supports the development and growth of our colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and business objectives
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Monitor and control store operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance
- Collaborate with other store leaders and the central team to drive business growth and improvement
- Identify and develop opportunities for staff development and training
Requirements
- Proven experience in a retail leadership role, preferably in a similar industry
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a customer-focused approach
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
