Position Overview

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and skilled Clinical Team Leader to join our Low Secure Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional, empathetic, and recovery-oriented care to young individuals. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a supportive environment that reflects our service's core values and philosophy. The ward operates in a dynamic setting, requiring adaptability and a proactive attitude, serving as a positive influence for your colleagues.

A strong commitment to supporting young people who have faced trauma and exhibit a variety of mental health challenges, including Autistic Spectrum Disorders, is essential. Understanding the developmental and holistic needs of our patients is a key aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD) with a willingness to engage in a demanding role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding protocols.
  • Familiarity with multidisciplinary team dynamics.
  • Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • In-depth understanding of the Mental Health Act.
  • A patient-centered approach with a dedication to providing high-quality care.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude towards work.
