Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Analyst to join our team at HARP, a leading retail consultancy. As a Retail Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in examining retail visitation, sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    Analyze client data on customer visitation and behavior to support retail strategies. Forecast key KPIs, including visitation, sales revenue, and rental income. Develop detailed appraisal models to back up forecasts.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis:
    Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities. Create a global retail benchmarks database.
  • Customer Insights and Behavior Analysis:
    Develop customer segmentation models to understand preferences and behaviors, and inform the creation of customer personas. Provide insights to improve customer experience and loyalty.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in retail or tourism analysis, data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of retail industry trends and consumer behaviors.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with predictive modeling or machine learning.
  • Familiarity with retail management systems and databases.
  • Understanding of e-commerce and digital retail trends.
