We have a great opportunity for an Assembly Technician to join the Proseal team just south of Manchester.

Proseal UK Ltd designs and manufactures high-quality tray sealing and conveying systems for the food industry, with manufacturing facilities in the UK, North America, and Australia. Established for 25 years, demand for Proseal products is growing as we develop many plastic-based alternatives for preserving the life of and carrying food safely. Proseal has become the leading manufacturer of tray sealing machinery and tooling in the UK and is recognized as a major international force with manufacturing facilities in the United States and Australia, along with offices in Ireland, Holland, Spain, Canada, South America, and Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure assembly and build quality is of the highest possible standard.
  • Attend site for machine commissioning and breakdowns.
  • Ensure production instructions and quality standards are met/exceeded.
  • Conduct on-site commissioning and customer training.

Experience

  • Responsible for the mechanical assembly of all sub and main assemblies.
  • Carry out mechanical surveys, repairs, and servicing of Proseal equipment.
  • Perform general engineering tasks, including marking out, drilling, and tapping.

Qualification

  • Time served with C&G or modern apprenticeship.
