Main Responsibilities:

As an Assembly Technician at John Bean Technologies Corporation, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest possible standard of assembly and build quality. This includes ensuring that machinery is fully PDI'd and tested prior to delivery, attending site for machine commissioning and breakdowns, and working to deadlines and delivery dates. You will also be responsible for ensuring production instructions and quality standards are met or exceeded, escalating any build anomalies to relevant persons, and providing on-site commissioning and customer training.

Experience:

Principally, you will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of all sub and main assemblies, including reading and understanding engineering drawings and pneumatic circuits. You will also be responsible for managing and keeping your electronic parts lists accurate, carrying out mechanical surveys, repairs, and servicing of Proseal equipment, and performing general engineering tasks such as marking out, drilling, and tapping.

Qualification:

A time-served background with C&G or a modern apprenticeship is required for this role.
