About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to take on the role of Registered Care Manager in our reputable healthcare facility in Worthing. Our service is home to 10 adults with physical disabilities, and we actively involve them in their local community, where they participate in a wide range of activities using local resources.

As a Service Manager with Leonard Cheshire, you will provide clear direction, management, and supervision of a great staff team. You will lead with passion and enthusiasm to ensure your service is well run, promoting positive outcomes for disabled people with a flexible and proactive approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and management to a team of care professionals
  • Ensure the service is fully compliant with health and safety management and statutory obligations
  • Manage budgets and ensure the service operates within financial constraints
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to meet the needs of the service
  • Hold registration for the service and ensure it meets national minimum care standards
Requirements
  • A recognised nursing or social care qualification and registration
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Substantial experience in managing care teams or supervisory experience in a care environment
  • Strong people and communication skills with excellent customer service
  • Thorough understanding of financial data and ability to manage budgets
