About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employment Support Specialist to join our team at Red 5 People. As an Employment Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with Autism and Neurodivergent conditions to overcome barriers and achieve their employment goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one employment support to individuals with Autism and Neurodivergent conditions
- Assist individuals in overcoming barriers to employment, including developing job search skills and creating personalized job plans
- Source referrals from various avenues, including community organizations and healthcare providers
- Travel across the East Riding to meet with clients and provide support
- Work collaboratively with a fast-growing charity that specializes in Autism support
Requirements:
- Experience working in employment support or a related field, such as recruitment consultancy or careers advising
- Passion for Autism and Neurodivergent conditions, with a strong understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with these conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results
