About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Claims Handler to join our team at Lawes Consulting Group. As a Casualty Claims Handler, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating a range of claims, negotiating settlements, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Assessment: Accurately assess a range of simple and complex claims and evaluate liability and quantum up to £25,000.
- Customer Complaints: Identify and handle customer complaints effectively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Negotiation and Settlement: Negotiate settlement of claims and ensure fair and robust investigation of claim cases.
- Collaboration: Engage with internal partners and clients to ensure seamless communication and effective resolution of claims.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in audits and contribute to the development of best practices in claims handling.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous claim handling experience, preferably in the financial services or insurance sector.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
