Regulatory Affairs Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our business operates within the regulatory framework and maintains the highest standards of compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Comply with the FCA's Consumer Duty requirements and other regulatory obligations.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with company compliance requirements.
- Work in accordance with the Data Protection policy and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Hold the SMF 16 function (Compliance oversight function) and provide leadership for the team.
- Develop and maintain effective systems and processes to ensure compliance with all regulatory regimes.
- Monitor all aspects of the business to identify actual or potential weaknesses and take corrective action.
- Act as Compliance Officer in identifying, investigating, and rectifying rule breaches, and fulfill associated reporting requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Relevant qualifications such as CISI Level 6 Diploma in Financial Compliance.
- Ability to manage own workload and work within a team.
- Exceptional communication skills at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ideally Intelligent Office, Volume, Imago, and Pulse dealing system.
