About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Skilled Jobs Australia.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in repairing and maintaining heavy trucks and 4WDS in a clean and modern workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduled maintenance and breakdowns
  • Major and minor fault finding, repairing, and/or replacement

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications (at least Cert III) or a minimum of 3 years experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic
  • HC License desirable
  • Experience working on Isuzu, Iveco, and heavy commercial vehicles
  • Ability to identify and complete tasks without direct supervision
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose faults
  • Experience in car carrier trailer repairs is highly advantageous

Preferred but not essential:

  • Forklift license preferred
  • Experience in repairing earthmoving equipment

Salary Range:

$70,000 to $90,000.00 plus superannuation
