About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Workshop Engineer to join our team at Ganymede Solutions Ltd. As a Diesel Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out fault diagnostics on modern diesel engines and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out fault diagnostics on modern diesel engines
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Undertake remote diagnostic work to obtain, evaluate, and interpret data to identify likely faults
  • Ensure performance and availability for the diesel engines in the rolling stock
  • Provide product training and support to colleagues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Qualified to NVQ3 as a minimum
  • Demonstrable experience of fault diagnostics and remote diagnostics and conditioning
  • Experience in both the mechanical and electrical maintenance of diesel engines and/or propulsion systems and associated electrical control technology, ECU's (Electronic control unit)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
