As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the critical real-time operational systems that ensure the safety, security, and operational capabilities of our enterprise.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining and managing assigned projects within the Real-Time Systems
* Liaising with Operations Departments for incident/failure investigations and providing reports to security authorities
* Producing system migration plans to ensure compliance with security requirements and maximum availability and integrity of the system
* Supporting the replacement and major evolutions of the real-time systems
* Managing and analysing outages to ensure systems are operating at agreed performance levels
* Assisting other Control System Engineers with technical support and providing second-line internal support
* Identifying necessary system administration activities
* Participating in the production of migration solutions for the future development of control systems
* Carrying out technical monitoring to keep abreast of the evolution of technologies in real-time automated industrial systems
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in the administration and maintenance of control and control systems
* An engineering degree or equivalent experience
* Experience administering several operating systems, including Windows and Linux
* Programming experience
* Experience in technical support in the maintenance and/or development of critical control systems in the railway environment
* A valid Driving Licence and Passport
