Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Special Educational Needs

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to join our team at a warm and welcoming secondary school in Rowland's Castle. The successful candidate will have experience working with children who have complex learning difficulties and a passion for creating positive relationships with children.

Job Role:

  • Supporting small groups of pupils with learning tasks under the guidance of a teacher.
  • Supporting children's emotional wellbeing and communication skills.
  • Fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for children to build safe relationships in.
  • Safeguarding will be your number one priority ensuring the welfare of the pupils.

Job Specification:

  • Full time position, 8:45am – 3:15pm (Mon – Fri)
  • Competitive hourly rate of £14.72
  • Temporary to permanent contract
  • Location: Rowland's Castle

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years
  • DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
