About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Oceanfreight Clerk to join our team at LogisticsRecruit UK. As an Oceanfreight Clerk, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods between ports and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing Ocean Imports and Exports: You will be responsible for processing ocean imports and exports from start to finish, including preparing shipping documentation and customs entries.
  • Quotations and Pricing: You will work closely with our sales team to provide quotations and pricing for our clients.
  • Liaising with Hauliers and Shipping Lines: You will liaise with hauliers and shipping lines to ensure that all necessary arrangements are made for the movement of goods.
  • Customs Clearance: You will be responsible for ensuring that all customs clearance procedures are completed accurately and on time.
  • Providing Excellent Customer Service: You will provide first-class customer service to our clients, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: You will have previous experience working as an oceanfreight clerk or in a similar role.
  • Imports and Exports: You will have experience working with imports and exports, including customs clearance.
  • Stable Employment: You will have a stable employment history and be able to provide references.
  • Good Team Player: You will be a good team player and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
