Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Contract Analyst to join our team at Scottish Power. As a key member of our Contract Development Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of replacement and new framework contracts.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead and drive continual performance improvement through analysis of feedback from internal and external sources to inform the Service Framework tenders. You will also be responsible for developing robust plans for service framework contracts, which are devised to minimise tender timescales.

In addition, you will be responsible for developing, reviewing and updating tender documentation, cost, budget, financial forecast and performance data for business improvement processes. You will also identify, resolve and escalate tender and contract issues as required.

As a Contract Development Specialist, you will work closely with internal and external customers to support delivery of robust communication activities to facilitate the delivery of effective service framework contracts. You will also represent Scottish Power at negotiation meetings and take responsibility for your personal development.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and drive continual performance improvement through analysis of feedback from internal and external sources to inform the Service Framework tenders.
  2. Develop robust plans for service framework contracts which are devised to minimise tender timescales.
  3. Develop, review and update tender documentation, cost, budget, financial forecast and performance data for business improvement processes.
  4. Identify, resolve and escalate tender and contract issues as required.
  5. Represent Scottish Power at negotiation meetings.
  6. Take responsibility for your personal development.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification (CIPS Lvl 4 or equivalent preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven project and contract management skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
